Who Are We?

We are Arizona Jewish Business Network – a Jewish Entrepreneurial Chavurah that is dedicated to enhancing your business efforts through local, meaningful Jewish relationships.  This, in its essence, is what sets us apart from other business networks, other breakfast/lunch/happy hour groups – we seek to serve the community by developing connections with each other, assisting in the development or promotion of our businesses, and engaging in philanthropic acts of tzedakah.

Jewish Moment?

Eddie Pantiliat spoke about the fact that right now, in Chesban (Mar Chesban), we have a bitter month.  Eddie notes that the sages explain that there are no holidays in this month, because this is the month we try to adapt all the things that we said we were going to put into place all the things we said we wanted to do or be during the high holidays.  This is the month that we focus on our New Year’s Resolutions.  Eddie also pointed out that since our months coincide with the moon, and right now we have a New, Sliver moon appearing on our horizon… this means that on November 4th, our moon will be full.

Business Moment?

“You can make more friends in two months, by becoming interested in other people, than you can in 2 years by trying to make other people interested in you (Dale Carnegie).  Heather Rykowski described ways to help you engage the people you meet, encouraging you to work on building relationships outside of your formal meetings.

Presentation:  Heather AIT Promotions

Heather described the ways that a variety of promotional products can assist you in building your business, in developing those business relationships that help you market your company.  Heather reports that she is getting lots of requests for apparel – from shirts to be worn to events to uniforms.  Heather discussed the difficulties in producing shirts with multiple colors that cannot be created in a traditional silk-screen machine but still be comfortable and cost-effective for consumers, demonstrating a shirt with 18 colors that was manufactured with a new process.  Electronic gadgets can be placed in gift boxes and sent out.  Consumers are seeking useful products that can be easily mailed with a personalized note.
