February 1, 2022 | Business Meeting Recap

Jewish Moment – presented by Jacob Leiferman | LeifermanEnterprises

Jacob shared a parsha from 2 weeks ago:  God gave the Torah to the Jewish people but asked for a collateral guarantee agreement.  The Jewish people offered their children as the guarantee – this way God was assured that the Jews would accept the Torah, and teach it to their children, ensuring the survival of God’s precious gift.  In shul, when reciting the 10 commandments, all the children go to the Bimah to receive the word of the Torah.  Children are the foundation of our culture, with them, our traditions live on.

Shawn Bader shared that this is a Leap year in the Jewish Lunar calendar, which means that there are two months of Adar:  Adar Aleph and Adar Bet.  Since the month of Adar is supposed to be a good month to do business, may this year be especially good for us as business owners.  Tonight is the first night of Adar.  Purim will move to Adar Bet this year.
