Networking Meeting Recap

Jewish Moment – presented by Jacob Leiferman / Leiferman Enterprises

Jacob reminded us of the Daily Mitzvot – encouraging us to “put a mitzvah on a daily basis”.  This can soften people’s hearts, help us to set goals for our personal lives.  Jacob educated us about Rabbi Akiva, who gave back to the world little by little, by doing one mitzvah a day, trying to help each other.  What’s one thing you can do today to make someone else’s life a little better.

Business Moment presented by Heather Rykowski / AIT Promotions

What you lack in talent can be made up with desire, hustle, and giving 100% all of the time.

Be the attitude you want to be around.

Heather shared an issue that emerged last week because she answered an email promptly and said “Thank You”.  Heather notes that having good manners in business can sometimes be the deciding factor in business.

Announcements

Live Facebook Event:  no new news.  Audrey will connect with Eddie to flesh out the presentation on Jewish Ethics he has volunteered to give at an upcoming JBN networking meeting.  We will look into the basics of the formatting of a live Facebook event, including the safety measures we can have.

Michael Cohen notified us that the State Vaccination sites have opened up to 55-year-olds.

Attendance at each meeting is incredibly important.  Of course, occasionally, things can come up and get in the way of your ability to meet with us… and believe me, we miss you when you aren’t here.  If you find that you just can no longer maintain your seat in our group, please connect with Michael Cohen or Audrey Jung.

Today, because March is a superstition month where we find ourselves hunting for four-leaf clovers, we each shared a Bubbe Meise from our childhood…

Speaker – Lorrie Feld, AZ Realty Group, Keller Williams Arizona Realty

Lorrie Feld has been in the Real Estate Business since she moved to the valley in 2003.

Lorrie notes that the market is still very busy.  Prices are elevated, homes are selling quickly… one agent had 170 showings and 40 offers on one house that he put on the market.  The inventory of homes to sell is low, Californians are moving here in droves… Texas and Florida are also feeling the surge of home sales.
